Why does CleanMe need Administrator?

Discord only lets a bot give roles the permissions it has itself, and only lets it see private channels it has access to. Without Administrator, restored roles come back missing permissions, and hidden channels can’t be cleaned.

Some roles weren't deleted. Why?

CleanMe can only delete roles below its own. Go to Server Settings → Roles and drag CleanMe to the very top.

I get "Missing Access" on some channels.

A channel’s permissions are hiding it from CleanMe. Give CleanMe Administrator, or View Channel in that channel.

Some bot or integration roles stayed.

Discord doesn’t let anyone delete those. Remove the bot that owns the role instead.

I cleaned by mistake. Can I get it back?

Yes. Every clean and copy takes a safety backup first. Use the code in the finished message with /copy code:… It’s also in /history for 30 days.

Who can use CleanMe in my server?

Administrators, by default. The server owner can limit it to just themselves plus chosen users or roles with /access.

Can other people copy my server?

Only if you save with visibility:public. Saves are private otherwise.

Why are roles slow to delete?

Discord allows deleting about one role per second, for every bot. Channels are faster.

Why are there new channels after a clean?

CleanMe creates a General category and #general so your server isn’t left empty. If you run /clean again, the help screen has a button to remove them.

I'm stuck. Where do I get help?

Join the CUB SOFTWARE support server (https://discord.gg/ngQXHUbnKg), or message the developer directly from there.
