Dispatch turns Discord conversations into actionable bug reports. Community members file a bug through a short in-app form, or by right-clicking any message and choosing “Report bug,” and Dispatch creates a well-structured GitHub issue on their behalf. Reporters never need a GitHub account or any knowledge of how issue trackers work, while developers get clear, consistent reports with reproduction steps, environment details and screenshots that are re-hosted so they never expire.
Maintainers can add an optional triage queue, where staff approve or reject reports in a dedicated channel before anything reaches GitHub. Admins can also define report types that become issue labels.
Reporters stay in the loop through direct messages when their bug is approved, fixed, closed or answered by a maintainer. To encourage good reporting, Dispatch grants configurable reward roles once someone’s reports are fixed, and offers stats and leaderboard commands that highlight the community’s top contributors.
Dispatch is a serverless Discord app built with TypeScript on Cloudflare Workers, D1 and R2, so it is cheap, often free, to host. Admins link a repository by signing in with GitHub, and Dispatch verifies they can push to it, preventing anyone from pointing spam at someone else’s project.
