Members subscribe from that page, or from a plan card you can post and pin in the
server itself. Roles are assigned instantly and revoked when the subscription
ends — nobody quietly keeping access they stopped paying for, no moderator
checking a list.
Stripe handles subscriptions, renewals, and failed payments. When a renewal
fails, the role stays active while Stripe retries the card, and the member gets
an email with a link to update it. You stop losing members to expired cards
without noticing.
Turn on a free trial and members get the role now with the first charge days
later. Or set no price at all, and use flatpass to hand someone a role the moment
they sign up.
