Fliphone — Real-time Cross-Server Communication

Fliphone is a modern Discord bot built to bridge the gap between communities. I designed this bot to allow two different servers to connect through a real-time “calling” system, creating a shared space for conversation, networking, and fun.

📞 Why Fliphone?

Most legacy calling bots use plain text or embeds, which can feel cluttered and impersonal. Fliphone uses a high-speed Webhook Relay system. This means that when a call is active, you can actually see the real names and avatars of the people in the other server. It makes the conversation feel native to your server, supporting images, stickers, and GIFs with zero delay.

🚀 Key Features

Global Matchmaking: Use f.call to join our global network. Our matchmaking system finds you a partner server instantly if someone is waiting, or places you in a queue.
Anonymous Mode: Privacy is important. If you want to talk without revealing your server’s identity or your personal profile, simply toggle f.anon to appear as a “Stranger” with a random NATO-phonetic name.
Friend Request Cards: If you hit it off with someone on the other end, use f.fr to send a safe contact card containing your username so you can keep the conversation going after the call ends.

🛡️ Safety & Moderation First

Cross-server chat should be fun, not toxic. Fliphone features a “Safety-First” architecture designed to protect your members:

Built-in Filtering: Our automated filter strips out slurs and hate speech before they are relayed to the other server.
GIF Reporting: Every GIF relayed includes a dedicated report button. One click removes the content and flags it for manual developer review and blacklisting.
Server Blocking: If a partner server is being toxic, administrators can run f.block to end the call immediately and ensure the two servers are never matched again.
