What is Language Bloom?

Language Bloom is a Discord bot that connects you with real people to practice languages through text and voice - no pressure, just natural conversations.

How does the matching work?

Use /sprout for voice chats or /polinate for text chats. The bot matches you with someone learning your language while you learn theirs

Can I talk by voice or only text?

Both. Use /polinate for text or /sprout for voice - your choice.

Do I need to be fluent?

Not at all 😭 This is made for people who understand a language but struggle to speak. Beginners are welcome too.

Is it awkward talking to strangers?

It can feel like that at first, but the bot helps by: β€’ suggesting topics β€’ creating a chill, no-pressure environment β€’ letting you leave anytime

What if I don’t like my match?

You can: β€’ πŸ”€ Shuffle β†’ get a new match β€’ 🌫 Fade β†’ leave the conversation. No stress.

What happens after a conversation ends?

You’ll get options to: β€’ add each other on Discord β€’ share profiles β€’ rematch later

Where do the conversations happen?

Conversations happen in private channels created by the bot inside the server. Voice chats use /sprout, and text chats use / polinate, so everything stays organized and easy to use.

Can I add the bot to my own server?

Yes, but the full experience (random voice matching) works best in the main community server.

Is it free?

Yes. You can use Language Bloom for free. If you like it, you can support the project or vote to help it grow 🌸
