Meet Latch
Latch is a new Discord bot built to help server teams keep moderation actions and support tickets organized. It gives staff a record they can review later, with details like who took an action, who it affected, the reason, and the outcome.
Moderation and case history
Latch supports warning, timeout, kick, ban, and message purge commands. Staff can review recent cases or look up an individual case with /cases-history and /cases-view. Moderation actions check Discord permissions and role hierarchy, and record whether the action succeeded.
Private support tickets
Members can open a private ticket with /ticket-open. Staff can claim or release a ticket, check its status, and close it. Ticket history records opening, assignment changes, and closure so staff can see who owns the next step.
Setup and permissions
Use /latch-setup, /latch-diagnose, and /latch-permissions to review setup and the permissions Latch needs. /latch-status reports bot readiness, and /latch-guide provides setup help.
Latch is brand new, and we’re looking for our first testers. Join the new community to try the bot’s working features and share feedback:

Current limits: Link detection can post a notice, but it does not automatically delete messages or punish users. Advanced automod, appeals, Banwave, analytics, and paid plans are not available in this build.
