Is MsgPlanner free?

Yes — the free plan has no time limit: 3 active schedules per server, 200 characters per message, 1 image, and all three schedule types. New servers also get a two-week Elite trial, no payment required: activate it with /subscription_status.

How do I schedule my first message?

Run /schedule_msg in Discord, or log into the web dashboard with your Discord account and pick your server — no setup. Choose destination, message and timing; you see a preview of the next activations before saving.

Can I schedule recurring and calendar-based messages?

Yes. Recurring intervals (every 45 minutes, every 6 hours, every 3 days…) and full calendar rules: every Monday at 9:00, the 1st and the 15th, a true last day of the month, multiple times per day, or time windows like “every hour from 17:00 to 20:00”.

How are timezones and daylight saving handled?

Every schedule runs in the IANA timezone you choose, and daylight saving shifts are handled automatically — a 9:00 reminder stays at 9:00 all year.

Does it support embeds?

Yes — a complete embed builder with author, footer, thumbnail, image, fields and colors, plus a live Discord-style preview. Free plan: embeds within its character budget; Elite: up to 10 embeds per message, 25 fields each (Discord’s maximums).

Can it post in forum channels and threads?

Yes — pick the forum post or thread as the destination and schedule normally: one-time, recurring or calendar, with embeds and attachments. Almost no other bot covers this.

Can deliveries auto-publish in announcement channels?

Yes — with auto-publish, every delivery to an announcement channel is crossposted to the servers following it, with no one pressing the button.

Can a delivery clean up after itself?

Yes — auto-clean deletes each delivery after a delay you choose (1 minute to 30 days), or keeps only the latest message of a recurring schedule: one copy in the channel, always current.

What is Elite and how much does it cost?

Elite is a per-server subscription at $2.99/month through the Discord Store: 120 schedules, 4,000 characters, up to 10 embeds, templates with rotation, backup import. One subscription upgrades the whole server — see our Pricing page to earn Elite weeks for free.

What happens when Elite expires?

Nothing is deleted. Your schedules and content stay saved; anything beyond the free limits simply stops being delivered until you renew or reduce usage.
