Upvote musicat

musicat is a music tracking app. It records everything you stream on Spotify and Apple Music and turns it into stats, charts, memories and reviews. This bot brings all of that into your server, so what everyone is listening to lives where you already talk about it.

Connect your account once with /link and every command below starts working. Only connected accounts show up in server charts, and /unlink undoes it at any time.

• /np what is playing right now, yours or someone else’s
• /queue add a track straight to your Spotify queue, without leaving the channel

• /profile the full summary of your listening
• /top your top artists, albums, tracks or genres
• /memories this day in earlier years, from your own history

Every chart takes a range: today, last 7 days, last 30 days, last 6 months, last year, last calendar week or month, or all time. Most of them also show how the number moved against the period before.

• /server what this whole server plays the most
• /whoknows who here plays a given artist, album or track the most
• /compat how much two people’s tastes actually overlap
• /duel settle it with someone over a shared artist

Nothing generic here. Every round is built from music the people in your server actually listen to.

• /pixel name the album behind a pixelated cover
• /jumble name the artist behind scrambled letters
• /guessyear name the year an album came out

• /link connect your musicat account, answers privately
• /unlink disconnect it
• /follow and /unfollow follow someone on musicat without leaving Discord
• /invite invite the bot to another server
• /suggest tell us what to change, it goes straight to the team

1. Invite the bot to your server.
2. Get musicat on iOS or Android and connect Spotify or Apple Music.
3. Run /link in your server.
4. Run /server and see who has been holding the charts hostage.
