Back to PixelRoom

A lot of Discord is pictures: memes, screenshots, reaction GIFs. If you use a screen reader, most of that is just “image” with nothing behind it.

PixelRoom fills that gap. Ask it about an image and it tells you what’s there, short and plain, in your own language. It stays quiet until someone asks, and only the person who asked sees the answer, so it never clutters the chat.

Commands

  • /describe the latest image, GIF or video in the channel
  • /describe detail: long the same, in more detail
  • /describe count: 3 the last few images, up to 5
  • /describe back: 2 an earlier image
  • /ask question: ... ask anything about the latest image
  • /readtext read out the text in an image, word for word
  • /help the command list, in your language

You can also right-click a message and choose Apps > Describe image.

It won’t guess who people in a photo are, and text in images is read exactly as written, never “tidied up”.
