⌚Retrospect is an app designed to provide the latest cryptocurrency data and analysis based on social metrics (Twitter activity, Github commits) to determine a cryptocurrency’s quality and future prospects.

❓How does it work?
The app first collects cryptocurrency data (price, market cap, price change, volume) from coin gecko’s API. Then, it reads each cryptocurrency’s Twitter community activity and source code (Github) commit activity. Finally, a sentiment analysis is done for each cryptocurrency through tweets about a cryptocurrency.
After collecting this data, the app will calculate the RETRO-SCORE, indicating the cryptocurrency’s overall social-metrics-based quality (🕜-SCORE ©️ ), and market view score (the cryptocurrency community’s view on the currency). Finally, using the cryptocurrency’s Twitter & Github activity, Twitter sentiment analysis, and a few basic data (price & market cap), the app establishes a model to predict the currency’s future price changes. Upon backtesting, the model’s accuracy is currently 91% accurate!
Finally, the data is displayed on the application.
