Sortr is a ticket bot for Discord that you set up in a web dashboard: by clicking, with a live preview of exactly what members will see. No commands to learn.
How it works
- Sign in at https://sortr.xyz with Discord. Sortr lists every server you manage.
- Add Sortr to a server and build a panel: the message, the buttons or menu, and who handles each ticket type.
- Send it. Members press a button and get a private ticket channel with your staff.
Type /help in your server at any time for the setup steps. Full help pages: https://sortr.xyz/docs
What’s in it
- Up to 25 ticket types on one post, as buttons or a dropdown, each with its own settings
- A form of up to five questions before a ticket opens, with file uploads for screenshots and videos
- Per ticket type: which staff roles handle it and what each may do (full access, reply only or read only)
- Limits per member, spacing between tickets, blocked roles and support hours
- Reminders when a ticket goes quiet, auto-close and scheduled clean-up
- Transcripts to a staff channel, to the member’s DMs, or kept on Sortr, encrypted and searchable
- An event log, Google Sheets export of form answers, and webhooks
- Copy a panel from one server to your others, and manage them all from one login
- Optional slash commands, switched on per panel
Commands
/help: where Sortr is set up, and how to open a ticket/new: open a ticket, for yourself or for a member/close: close a ticket, with an optional reason/transcript: save a ticket’s transcript as a file/addand/remove: give someone access to a ticket, or take it away
Everything except /help is optional and switched on per panel in the dashboard.
Moving from Ticket Tool?
Sortr reads your Ticket Tool setup from your server and rebuilds it: panels, buttons, categories, staff roles, the opening message, questions and ticket numbering. It can also take over the tickets still open. For this, give Sortr’s role Administrator, so it can see Ticket Tool’s private tickets. Sortr is not affiliated with Ticket Tool.
Permissions
Sortr only asks for the permissions it uses. To open tickets, its role needs Manage Channels and Manage Roles, plus View Channels, Send Messages, Embed Links and Read Message History. For private categories, let Sortr’s role in.
