Upvote Sword and Scythe online

An ambitious medieval/fantasy themed Role-Playing Game bot. Besides entertainment this Application serves the purpose of education on the geography of Europe, Middle East & North Africa and historical polities and medieval agriculture.
1st milestone was the farming game. Inspired by Stardew Valley, the player transforms fallow plots of land into a profitable farm. The core gameplay loop here is survival, crafting and monthly chores. This module’s main goal is to teach the player on the medieval agricultural crop calendar.
2nd milestone is the Role-Playing Game. Here the player works for the adventurers’ guild. Hostile encounters are resolved by applying a homebrew of Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition rules. The UI is inspired by retro turn-based battlers like original Final Fantasy 7 or Pokemon. This module’s main goal is to teach the player on the geography of Europe, Middle East & North Africa by sending her/him to quests in distant lands and seas.
3rd milestone is the Grand strategy (Work In Progress). A simulation of climbing the career ladder in the Byzantine army. From low rank soldier hunting bandits to high rank and file general squashing raiding warbands. Early game close-quarters combat is resolved in above mentioned turn-based combat from the RPG module. Late game battles are auto-resolved like in Total War: MEDIEVAL II or Crusader Kings II Also included is rudimentary base building and bare bones Western European feudalism & nobility. (WIP) This module’s main goal is to teach the player on the geography of Europe, Middle East & North Africa and historical medieval polities.
