A discord bot that displays the status of https://talos.stuy.edu/\
The bot displays the status of talos.stuy.edu through it’s activity overlay (Watching Talos | ping | reliability percentage)
The ping represents the time it takes for talos to respond to a request.
The Successful response rate shows the reliability of talos currently.
Every 1 min the bot evaluates the status of Talos.
This bot uses the new slash command system!
type in “/” and pick the command you want to use
There are 2 commands:
stats: this command displays the status of Talos more in depth.
botstats: this command displays general information about the bot (ping, uptime etc)
If you go to Stuyvesant, you have probably know how Talos crashes alot. This discord bot basically tells you the status of Talos without you needing to check.
The bot pings Talos 10 times every 1 min and evaluates the responses to those 10 pings.
This project is open to improvement (I have limited JS experience)
The bot is currently hosted on a Heroku Free tier worker
