Vanta is the next generation of content moderation for Discord.
Most moderation bots rely on keyword lists, regex filters, and pattern matching. That approach is easy to get around: swap a letter, add a space, use a synonym, and the filter misses it. It also produces false positives, flagging harmless messages that happen to contain a blocked word.
Vanta works differently. Every message in your server is analyzed by a purpose-built machine learning classifier that understands what a message means, not just which words it contains. Each message gets a score across a range of harm categories, including harassment, hate speech, spam, scams, sexual content, and threats. You decide how strict each category should be and what happens when a message crosses the line: delete it, flag it for review, time out the user, or just log it.
Built for speed. Vanta doesn’t use large language models to moderate your server. LLMs are powerful, but they’re too slow and too expensive to check every message in real time. Our classifier is lightweight and built for one job, so harmful content is caught in milliseconds, often before anyone else sees it.
Scam images, gone everywhere. Vanta also removes the scam images that get spammed across Discord, like fake crypto giveaways. Each caught image gets a unique fingerprint, so once it’s flagged in one server, any repost is removed on sight in every server running Vanta.
