Is VV-Bot really free?

Yes. Every feature is free and there is no premium plan. Nothing is locked behind a paywall, and nothing that is free now will ever become paid.

How do I set it up?

Add VV-Bot, then open vv-bot.com and sign in with Discord. Pick your server and switch on what you want. Every page explains itself and shows a preview. No commands or config files needed.

Do I need a Minecraft server?

No. VV-Bot works as a normal Discord bot. The Minecraft features are optional, and they stay hidden on servers without Minecraft.

What can VV-Bot do?

Welcome cards, tickets, moderation, auto-moderation, a server log, XP and levels, role menus, verification, giveaways, birthdays, YouTube and Twitch alerts, and more. See the full list at vv-bot.com/features.

What does it do for Minecraft servers?

With the free plugin for Paper or Spigot: account linking, ranks players earn in game, a chat bridge between Minecraft and Discord, live server status and a LuckPerms editor on the website.

Why does it ask for so many permissions?

Each permission belongs to a feature, like Manage Roles for role menus. The invite page explains every one in plain words. You can give fewer, and VV-Bot tells you what will not work without them.

What does VV-Bot store about my members?

Only what a feature needs, for example XP or ticket transcripts. The privacy policy lists everything. Server owners can download or delete all their server’s data on the website at any time.

How do I see all commands?

Type /help in your server. /setup gives you the link to your server’s dashboard.

Where can I get help?

Ask in our support server, or read the guides at vv-bot.com/docs. Every dashboard page also has a short “How it works” section.

Who makes VV-Bot?

VV-Bot is made by an independent developer in Germany. It is not affiliated with Discord, Mojang or Microsoft.
