Whisper is an anonymous confession bot built for Discord communities that want to give their members a place to speak freely, share thoughts, ask questions, or start conversations without publicly revealing who submitted them.
Members can submit confessions privately through Whisper. Depending on the server’s configuration, submissions can either be published automatically or sent through a moderator approval system first. Once approved and published, confessions appear in the designated confession channel without publicly displaying the author’s Discord identity.
Whisper isn’t just a confession sender. It includes a complete system for managing anonymous conversations, including anonymous replies, confession tracking, moderation tools, reporting, restrictions, moderation history, logging, and server configuration.
💬 Confessions & Replies
Members can submit anonymous confessions and, when enabled by the server, interact with published confessions through anonymous replies. This allows conversations to develop while keeping the identities of the participants hidden from regular members.
📋 Track Your Submissions
Users can check the status of their confessions and see whether a submission is still pending, has been approved, or has been rejected. This provides feedback without requiring users to publicly identify themselves.
🔒 Privacy & Anonymity
Whisper is designed around anonymous public posting. A confession’s author’s Discord identity isn’t displayed alongside the public post. Authorized moderators may have access to information necessary for moderation and server safety, while regular members only see the anonymous content.
🛡️ Powerful Moderation
Server staff have access to a dedicated moderation system for managing the community. Moderators can review pending confessions, approve or reject submissions, remove inappropriate content, manage user restrictions, inspect moderation history, handle reports, and access relevant logs.
⚙️ Server Configuration
Administrators can configure Whisper to fit their community’s needs, including the confession channel, moderator role, approval system, logging, logging channel, and visual theme.
Whether your server is a small private community or a large public Discord, Whisper provides a structured way for members to share anonymously while giving staff the tools they need to manage the system.
Speak freely, stay anonymous & don’t for get to whisper!
