Zeus Discord Bot Who holds my money during a Zeus deal?
Nobody. The payment goes straight from buyer to seller, wallet to wallet. Zeus only observes the payment reference. The only money that touches the contract is the two bonds, and those return to both sides when the deal settles. Then what stops the seller just taking the money?
Their bond. Both sides post one before the deal exists. If the buyer disputes inside the review window and the arbitrator rules against the seller, the seller’s bond is forfeited to the buyer. Walking away costs more than delivering. What does it cost?
5% of the principal, charged on the bond pool rather than on your payment, split 4% Zeus and 1% arbitrator. Cancelling before delivery is free and needs both sides to agree. Minimum deal size is $150.How big is the bond?
On the standard tier the seller bonds 40% of the principal and the buyer 10%. A full-cover tier exists at 100% and 25% for higher-trust deals. Both bonds come back in full when the deal settles without a dispute. What happens if neither side does anything?
The deal settles itself. Once the seller declares delivery, a visible review window runs. If the buyer neither approves nor disputes before it expires, Zeus settles and returns both bonds. No funds sit stuck waiting for a human.Who decides a dispute, and can I pick them?
An arbitrator is drawn at random from the panel when the deal is created. You cannot pick one, but each party gets one re-draw. Run /deal arbitrator to see who holds your deal and to use it.Is my money safe? Has the contract been audited?
No. The contracts are unaudited and every message the bot sends says so. They have no admin keys, cannot pay out to anyone but the two parties, and are verifiable on-chain — but unaudited means unaudited. Do not trade more than you can lose. What can I trade through Zeus?
Gaming accounts, CS2 skins, freelance services, domains and socials, and crypto OTC. Discord account sales, Nitro, platform currency and regulated goods are refused at the protocol layer, so don’t try to route them through Zeus.Do I need a crypto wallet to use it?
Yes. Deals settle in USDC or USDT on Polygon, you link a wallet by signing a one-time message with /wallet link. Signing proves you hold the address; it never moves funds or grants Zeus any spending permission. How do I know this bot is really Zeus?
Run /verify in any server, or check #verify-it-yourself. Both return the running application ID and the deployed contract addresses, so you can match them against zeus.as before you trade. Application ID 1529163457625063628.
