Have you ever wanted to be a police officer who rides the line of right and wrong, who just wants to do the right thing…but the bureaucracy all around you steps in your way, putting forth red tape and loop holes for these monsters, these…inhuman things to roam free. They tell you “It will be fine, we’ll get 'em next time” and with a pat on the back it’s “Back to work”. So one day you decide enough is enough, you find them again, only this time…this time is different. As you begin to head back to the department, you call yourself 10-7 Personal, you disable your radio, turn off your gps, suspect in the back seat and you turn toward the highway. The suspect smarts off “You’re going the wrong way to MRPD bub” and a smirk crosses your face as you politely respond “Not this time bub”.
