Welcome to the NINA and Escargot public community discord server! We’re a group dedicated to reviving old MSN / WLM (Escargot), AIM, AOL, ICQ, Yahoo! Messenger, QLink (NINA). Nothing like reliving the nostalgia of the good old days when we were “kicking it old school”!
In our server, We want the community to be the leading force in this project. We’ll start by introducing some ideas and concepts and then, together, we’ll build things from there. With enough active members, this could become an incredible project.
We’ll need “system admins” for testing, troubleshooting, and helping to develop realistic usage scenarios for this work. We also want to document anything related to the project that can help other members and the development team. Anyone who is interested in helping out, whether it’s making presentations, creating art, working on code, building, or anything else you are comfortable doing, is welcome to join us.
Lastly, we hope that this project will stay up and running, as it’s a great way to bring back the memories, friends, and good old messages that have disappeared throughout the years. Join us and experience a revival of some of your favorite chat and message apps!
