Unlike traditional server-only playlists, your Udio playlists belong to you. Create a playlist in one server, add your favorite tracks, then access and play that same playlist somewhere else without starting over.
Udio is designed around a clean, straightforward experience. There are no complicated DJ systems, no overloaded command menus, and no paywall blocking the basic features people actually want from a music bot.
Use /play to search for a song or paste a supported link, then control playback with commands like pause, resume, skip, stop, shuffle, clear, remove, move, queue, and now playing.
Queues are managed independently for every server, meaning multiple communities can use Udio at the same time without interfering with one another.
Udio also includes a full private playlist system. Users can create playlists, add and remove songs, reorder tracks, shuffle saved playlists, rename them, clear them, delete them, and play them directly in voice channels.
Playlist autocomplete makes managing larger libraries easier by letting you quickly select playlists and tracks without memorizing positions or exact names. Destructive actions such as deleting or clearing playlists also include confirmation controls to help prevent accidental changes.
Udio currently supports YouTube and SoundCloud playback, with smart source handling designed to keep music playing even when a particular source has trouble streaming a track.
The bot is built with performance and privacy in mind. Udio only stores the information necessary to provide features such as personal playlists. It does not store audio files, and playlist data is associated with your Discord account so your library remains available across supported servers.
