TTS Creature is a text-to-speech bot for Discord voice chats. It works well for casual servers, gaming groups, TTRPGs, and anyone who would rather type than speak.

ElevenLabs voices support tone tags, so you can add some direction to a message:

The result sounds closer to what you meant, rather than every message being read in the same flat voice.
Roleplay and TTRPGsGive each character a distinct voice, narrate a scene, or speak in character without using your microphone. Players who communicate more comfortably through text can still take part in voice chat.
Each user can choose a voice, provider, speaking rate, and ElevenLabs model. Server administrators can set defaults for anyone who has not configured their own preferences.
Made for Discord voice chatThe bot can join a voice channel on command or connect automatically when someone sends a TTS message. It can read from a configured text channel, supports Discord’s text-in-voice channels, and queues messages so they play in order.
Users can also right-click an existing message and have it spoken with either their own voice or the author’s voice.
Server administrators can control who may use TTS, require users to be in the voice channel, limit message length and repeated characters, and filter content from bots, webhooks, or emoji. Most settings can be configured separately for each server.
Automatic translationFor multilingual communities, the bot can translate messages through DeepL before reading them aloud. Set a target language for the server, then let users type normally while listeners hear the translated version.

- Voice provider or mode
- Speaking rate
- ElevenLabs model
- Spoken nickname
Servers can provide default voices and models for people who have not chosen their own.
Premium TTSSupporters can use premium providers such as ElevenLabs, Google Cloud Text-to-Speech, and Amazon Polly.
A subscription can also be assigned to a Discord server, giving everyone there access to premium TTS. If several supporters activate Premium on the same server, their ElevenLabs usage is pooled for the community.
Higher tiers come with larger ElevenLabs allowances, more server activations, and access to newer premium models. Personal Premium benefits still work across Discord, including in servers that have not been activated.

Slash commands, prefixes, and message actionsThe bot supports Discord slash commands as well as traditional commands through a configurable server prefix. Most commands work either way.
You can also use the message context menu to read an existing message aloud without copying it.
A more comfortable way to join voice chatYou may not have a microphone, may not want to speak, or may simply communicate more comfortably through text. You might also want character voices for a campaign or something less serious for a gaming session.
