🧠 Characters That RememberEnsemble’s memory system allows characters to develop familiarity with members over time.
Characters can remember relevant details and previous interactions so conversations don’t always start from zero. Members can build their own history with individual characters, while each character maintains their own identity and personality.
Use /ensemble card to see your relationship with a character or /ensemble journal to privately download your history with one.
Normal conversation with Ensemble doesn’t require a slash command.
Once a character is active in a channel, members can simply talk. Characters can respond when addressed and participate naturally while remaining in character.
Server administrators decide where Ensemble can speak and which character takes the stage.

Administrators control where characters are allowed to participate and can silence individual channels or the entire cast whenever needed.
Configuration options cover behavior such as addressing, participation frequency, cooldowns, quiet hours, character naming, and other server-specific preferences.
A web dashboard provides another way to manage Ensemble without turning Discord configuration into a wall of commands.
