Whats Noty Bot?Noty Bot is a discord bot that allows you to add notes to discord users, these can be used to moderate the server and keep an eye on specific users on for whatever you want.
How do I setup Noty Bot?That’s easy! You just need to have the permission to manage messages on the server you want to set it up, first you go to the server configuration, then roles and copy the ID of the role that you want to be able to use the .note command, once you got your role ID just do .config role ROLE_ID and that’s it! You can always see what role has the permission to use .notes by using the .config show command.
Does Noty Bot has other moderation commands?At the moment, no but I am planning to add more commands like the ability to create “Tickets”, these are disposable channels to solve problems, like report discord users and stuff and only the discord server administrators or whoever has the role will be able to see those channels, as the .notes command you will be able to use these commands for whatever you want.
What happens if an user changes its name and discriminator, will all his notes get deleted?Of course not! Noty Bot stores each user notes by its user id, no one can change his own user id so don’t worry, your notes will be stored forever.
Does Noty Bot supports other languages appart from English?At the moment, it does not but I’ll be adding Spanish and other languajes soon, so don’t worry, this shouldn’t take too long.
Where can I suggest things for Noty bot or get help?In the official discord support server you can go to the suggestions channel and say whatever you’ll like to be added,
The commands are:.help (The classic help command, displays all the commands and some useful links like the Official Support Server)
.config (tells you that you probably forgot to add show or role)
.config show (shows the current role that can use notes)
.config role (to set the role that can use .notes)
.notes (Tells you that you probably forgot to write add, delete or see)
.notes add(user) Must include user discriminator (What’s an user discriminator? An user discriminator is the # and the four following numbers on its name)
