What are The Steps?
- Invite the Discord bot to your designated server
- Purchase the subscription from Gumroad and use the bot’s /activate command in one of your Discord server’s channels to apply the license key from your subscription to the Discord bot.
- Be sure to select the tier for the number of members you expect to be at by the end of the month. If your community grows past your current subscription plan capacity, activation will cease and you will be prompted to purchase a new license key.
- Once activated, use the /setup command to register the bot.
- In this step, you are able to select the roles you would like to have the bot apply to users and/or allow the bot to supply 18+ users with your currently established role. Please note that you may only pair ONE of your currently established roles with the 18+ role that users receive from the bot.
- Nox Vitae recommends keeping all default Nox Vitae roles for your own server’s metrics.
- Once your chosen setup is completed, please raise the bot’s role as high as you can in your role hierarchy and then use the /create_verification_panel command in your desired channel.
- We ask that the bot’s role be raised because some channel permission overrides can disallow roles from being applied to certain users. It is best practice to create a channel where the only permission is that the @everyone role cannot send messages or add reactions.
- You’re all done! Your user base is ready to interact with your newly created panel and you can rest easy!
**Once your membership ends, your license key will be invalidated and any future members will not be able to use the setup panel until you re-initiate a membership.
