Your whole Discord server as one editable document: design it visually or with AI, preview every changes difference, then apply safely.

Back to Packet

Packet — manage your Discord server’s structure as a single editable document
Stop clicking through Server Settings one menu at a time. Packet lets you describe your server’s desired shape — roles, channels, categories, permissions, on boarding — in one editable blueprint, preview exactly what will change, and apply it all in a single go. Think “server architecture as a document,” with a friendly visual editor on top.

The flow: Blueprint → Configure → Diff → Apply

Blueprint — get a starting point four ways: generate one with AI, pull your server’s current structure in, start from a template, or write it from scratch.
Configure — edit it visually: drag to reorder roles, channels, and categories; set permissions point-and-click. No syntax to learn.

Diff — read a plain-language summary of everything that will change — created, renamed, moved, edited, reordered, removed — before anything touches your server.

Apply — Packet snapshots your server first, then makes the changes and streams progress live, operation by operation.
What you can do

🤖 Generate a server with AI. Describe what you want in plain English in any AI chat; Packet hands you a ready-made prompt and you paste the result back. Packet never sends anything to an AI itself — you choose the chat.

🎚️ Edit visually. A full point-and-click editor for roles, channels, categories, and permission overrides, with a live “pending changes” preview before you save.

🔄 Restructure without losing message history. Rename channels, reorganize categories, swap whole layouts — Packet renames and re-parents in place instead of delete-and-recreate, so your messages stay put.

🧩 Give members a self-serve role picker. Post a message where members click buttons (or a drop-down) to add and remove their own roles, and auto-assign a starter role when someone joins.
📋 Save and reuse templates. Promote a working setup into a reusable starting point — perfect for seasonal or event layouts — and apply it whenever it comes back around.

🪞 Mirror and adopt servers. Import a blueprint into another server you manage, or pull an existing server in and manage it going forward.

⌨️ Slash-command parity. The same operations from any channel where the bot has access, with the same safety gates.
Built to be safe

Packet makes real changes to live servers, so every safeguard is on by default:

Preview before every apply. You see the full diff first; nothing happens until you click Apply.

Automatic snapshot before each apply. If something looks wrong afterward, restore the snapshot from right before the change.

Typed confirmation for destructive deletes. No accidental channel wipes.

An audit log of every change — and applies can be paused for maintenance, so you get a clear notice instead of a half-finished run.

Good to know ->

Free, and in active alpha. Start on a test server if you can, and always read the diff before you apply.

A Privacy Policy and Terms of Service are published, and you can export or delete the data Packet holds about you anytime from Settings.
