Phades is a Discord Bot which automatically detects and kicks/bans users who send nitro scams with malicious domains. We got a fully public list of domains which can be seen and it is updated daily. Clicking those links is dangerous, Discord has implemented a feature which doesn’t allow those domains to be clicked but scammers and userbots are always buying new domains to fake nitro giveaways avoiding this feature. Phades will detect those links using a public updated list and takes action by kicking or banning who posted them.
There is also a anti-shortener url system similar to phishing one, which can be set with !shortener.
By default when invited Phades will kick users if they post phishing links and takes no action upon shortener links. You can choose what to do with them by using !phishing for malicious urls and !shortener for shortener urls in a text channel in your server.
View all commands with !help / !info, there is also a troubleshooting command to see if everything works correctly.
No data is being tracked nor saved by the bot, Phades only saves your server ID for configuration data (kicking/banning phishing urls or shortener urls, it’s per-server set) and nothing else. It scans chat messages and if they contain a malicious url (or a shortener url) which is present in the updated list (which is visible on GitHub on https://github.com/Dogino/Discord-Phishing-URLs) actions will be taken. There are no other features for now.
The 0.3 update is scheduled by the end of January and will include slash commands, advanced link detection and modlogging for server admins.
