Wild Pokémon appear while you and your friends chat! When one shows up, race to name it and catch it with p!catch <name>, or challenge it with p!battle instead. Be quick, though. A new Pokémon can appear and the old one may flee before anyone catches it.

One minute you are talking with friends. The next, everyone is trying to remember the name of a Pokémon they have not seen in years.

Your journey begins with p!start. Pick a starter from any generation, add it to your party, and start building a collection of your own.

You will find Pokémon from across nine generations, including regional variants, alternate forms, and shinies. Check their stats, teach them moves, help them grow, and put together teams you are proud to show off.

Whether you want to collect favorites, hunt rare Pokémon, complete your Pokédex, or build a strong battle team, there is always something new to work toward.

Recognizing a wild Pokémon is only one way to claim it.

If you would rather fight, enter a wild battle and choose your moves turn by turn. Switch Pokémon, take advantage of type matchups, use abilities and held items, and watch your partner gain experience along the way. Compatible Pokémon can even Mega Evolve when the moment is right.

You can also challenge other trainers and find out whose team is actually ready for a real fight.

Once your party is ready, step into the campaign and begin your Pokémon League journey. Face Gym Leaders, earn your victories, and meet opponents that ask more from your team than raw levels alone.

The deeper you go, the more preparation matters. A favorite Pokémon can carry you far, but a balanced party can carry you farther.

Some encounters are hidden far away from the usual path.

Enter dungeons, choose your direction, explore branching rooms, and fight the Pokémon guarding the way forward. Powerful bosses and valuable rewards wait inside, but earning them is only half the challenge.

You still have to make it back to the entrance.

If your party falls before escaping, the rewards you found inside are lost. Every step deeper becomes a choice: keep exploring, or return safely with what you have earned.

Your Pokémon grow alongside you. Battle with them, train their strengths, build friendship, discover evolutions, and give each member of your team a purpose.

You can trade Pokémon with friends, visit the shop, collect useful items, claim daily rewards, and send Pokémon away for training when you are not battling.

There is no single correct way to play. Build the strongest team you can, fill your boxes with favorites, chase shinies, help friends complete their collections, or simply enjoy the surprise of seeing what appears next.
