For a trainer to begin their PokeTrainer story, it’s a simple as one /starter command. This command will let you choose your own starter from any region, and will also personalize it by generating a random height/weight and possibly blessing you with your first ✨shiny✨
Everyone has a goal of completing the National PokéDex and fighting through the enitre Pokemon League in one setting. With PokeTrainer you can!
Trainers can initiate their own personal wild encounters using the /spawn command. This will generate a unique Pokémon to either capture or fight.
Evolution is another way to expand your PokéDex completion. Evolving and leveling in PokeTrainer is a much more simplified experience with the same outcomes as the mainline games. The /evolve command will guide you through the process.
Other ways to expand your collection is through trading with your fellow trainers, or by hatching eggs obtained through your /daycare.
Another form of collection is Gym Badges. Through /gymbattle, you will battle your way through all regions, winning money and badges along the way. Be careful, gym battles are far more difficult than your classic wild encounter. There is also a special set of Gym Leaders waiting at the end for the ultimate challenge!
There are quite a few interactions that will help you manage and go along your journey, some being information related and some being direct changes you as a trainer can make.
Your current trainer statistics and details can be seen through /trainer. You may also view another trainers information. Your inventory can be seen through /inventory and can expand your inventory with the /shop
Your battle team can be seen through /myteam and managed through /modifyteam. You will always send out your first slot when starting a battle. If a Pokemon gets knocked out, it will auto-sub in the first available Pokemon in your original team order, starting with slot 1.
You can search up both Pokémon and Gym Leaders using their respective information commands /pokedex and /gyminfo. Pokemon information can be seen once they are entered in the PokéDex through capture or trade. Information includes their PokéDex #, average height/weight, region, color, gender chance, and typing. Gym information includes the gym type, badge name, reward amount, and if you have already beaten them, you may view their team. The actual information will only show if you have entered the Pokemon into your PokéDex, or defeated the Gym Leader.
As of right now, only wild and gym battles are implemented. User vs User battles are definitely on the roadmap!
