Commands
To view the full list of commands for Potato!, type “potato! help” to show the command list.
Aside from the “potato!” prefix, you can also use :potato: as the prefix.
In the future, per-server prefix support may be added.
How to Play
The Potato! bot changes potato price every 3 minutes. Your goal is to buy potatoes when the price is low, and sell potatoes when the price is high.
Aside from this, there is also a hunger mechanic. If you go a long time without eating potatoes (“potato! eat”), you’ll starve. Once your hunger points drop below -100, you lose all progress and must start over again.
If you lose all money and potatoes, the bot will give you a potato at current market price. If your money balance drops below -150, you’re banned from playing the bot to prevent alt boosting. Your account will be deleted and automatically unbanned after a while, when your hunger points drop too low.
Purpose of the Bot
There is no purpose. :)
This bot was just made so that I can test my programming skills, but even though the mechanics are extremely basic and there are no complex systems involved, people in my server just got randomly super addicted to the bot and I decided to share the bot with the world :)

Permissions Required
Only Read Messages and Send Messages permissions are required for the bot to operate. As more complicated features get added, the bot may request extra permissions when a member attempts to use the feature.
The bot uses the Server Members intent to access your member list. This is required for features like sending money/potatoes to function properly.
