Members can translate individual messages, choose their preferred language, speak to other members in another language, or start conversations where Prompter handles translation automatically.
Server managers can go further by creating automatically translated channels, linking channels together across languages, and building multilingual translation groups.
💬 Personal TranslationUse /translate text to translate text directly inside Discord. Prompter automatically detects the source language and translates it into the selected target language.
With /language, each member can set their own preferred language. That preference follows the member across servers using Prompter, creating a more consistent experience wherever they go.
Prompter can automatically translate conversations instead of requiring members to request every translation manually.
Administrators can configure channels that automatically translate incoming messages into a chosen language.
Prompter can also link channels together so communities can maintain separate language spaces while still participating in the same conversation.
Translation groups extend this concept further by allowing multiple channel and language combinations to participate in a shared multilingual environment.

For ongoing communication, /converse provides hands-free two-way translation in a channel. Once the conversation is active, Prompter handles the translation while the participants continue talking normally.

Direct translation features allow users to establish translated conversations with other Discord members.
/direct open can start a translated Activity chat, while Prompter’s /dmlink system allows users to create linked conversations using invites, user IDs, or share codes.
Prompter also provides translated chat and voice-room functionality through /chat and /call.
Prompter includes additional community features designed around communication and language.
/play opens Prompter’s game launcher, including language-oriented experiences such as First Contact and Bridge Words.
