Why layered? The instant filter costs nothing and stops the obvious. The AI handles what
patterns never could: sarcasm, coded language, an insult buried in a friendly sentence.
Nothing reaches your members twice.

Bad actors do not type slurs plainly. ONIA is built for what they actually do.

💡 That fourth row closes the most common bypass on Discord. Without it, writing long
was enough to escape moderation entirely.

Obfuscation is not merely decoded. It counts as evidence of intent: a message someone
went to the trouble of disguising gets judged accordingly.

Coordinated attacks do not look like spam. They look like a hundred accounts joining in
ninety seconds, then channels disappearing.

When it fires: instant server lockdown, bulk bans at 200 accounts per request, and
deleted channels restored automatically. Each guard has its own threshold, window and action.

Three tolerance levels, so ONIA matches your community instead of fighting it:

• Lenient · only serious, unambiguous violations
• Balanced · clear violations; humour and slang are tolerated (default)
• Strict · also flags minor violations aimed at a person

Swearing at a video game stays fine. Swearing at someone does not. That distinction is
built into every level.

• Warnings expire after a lifetime you choose. A mistake from March should not ban someone in December.
• The highest threshold reached applies, even when several are crossed at once.
• Every sanction sends the member exactly one DM explaining what happened and why.
• Everything lands in your moderation log with a case ID.
