Wot Tools Bot
(For World of Tanks players)
What is this bots purpose ?
I made this Discord Bot to easily authenticate and authorize new clan members to your Discord server so the clan leader or officers don’t have to spend time manually finding out if the player really is in their clan and assigning roles to them. And new clan members will not have to wait for clan leader or officers to assign roles to them. The bot also takes care about removing all roles, previously assigned to the player, when player leaves the clan, so you don’t have to worry about users messing up your discord server when they are no longer members of your clan. Authorization by bot is even more secure than manually assigning roles.
Bot have also more features like telling you your or somebody’s else’s WN8 using the /wn slashcommand, showing you yours different statistics about relevant X tier tanks like avg damage and WN8 using /record slashcommand and if you verified yourself using the bot it can write you some interesting information like total time spent in battles and more using the /me slashcommand.
What if i want bot for the other features and not for the automatic authorization ?
Bot have two operation modes one with and one without clan so you can use other features of the bot that don’t require connected clan. (You can choose mode in the second step of the setup)
How to set up this bot on my server ?
(You have to be admin on the discord server where you want the bot and be at leas executive officer in the clan you want to connect)

[Not necessary if you play on EU server] - After using !realm command you can change realm from EU to whatever region you are playing in - Bot supports them all.

What does new clan member have to do to get Authorized by the Bot ?
- Change your discord server nickname in the server to your in game username. How to from Discord support: https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/articles/219070107-Server-Nicknames
(user does not have to have his Discord username same as ingame name, the server nickname is enough)

Use /verify slashcommand

Bot will send you link to WGs website where you log in. (Email and password WON’T be shared with the bot - log in is on the official WG website)
After log in you will be redirected to bots website if the log in was successful (you can close that window anytime). Bot checks if you are not pretending to be someone else and informs you about the result on discord. If Bot successfully verifies your identity he will authorize you by adding roles to you.
