Hope is a group that supports people with disabilities such as Autism (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and other disabilities around that spectrum.
Autism is (defined by autismspectrum.org.au): A lifelong developmental condition that affects, among other things, the way an individual relates to his or her environment and their interaction with other people.
Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder is a disorder which includes attention problems (such as daydreaming, difficulty focussing and being distracted), and hyperactivity (fidgeting and restlessness), though they could also be impulsive, accident-prone or may have trouble in relationships. Hyperactivity and impulsiveness tend to improve as a person gets older, but attention problems tend to last longer than that. (health.harvard.edu)
We want to help and support others with these disabilities so their lives can be better and/or easier. We accept anyone who is supporting others with these disabilities and people who have it themselves.
