Momentum Discord Bot

Momentum Bot is an intelligent, always-on moderation bot designed to protect your server before damage is done. Built for modern communities, Momentum goes beyond basic static blocklists and keyword filters—using real-time scanning, image analysis, and a shared cross-server threat intelligence network to automatically stop spammers, scam links, and raids in their tracks.

Momentum runs every message through a 6-step protection pipeline (while respecting role hierarchies and immunity lists):

• Anti-Spam: Detects burst posting, mass-mentions (@everyone/@here), repeated copypastas, and deduplicates spammed images across channels.
• Anti-Invite: Automatically blocks unwanted Discord invite links with an easy guild allowlist for partner servers.
• Anti-Scam (OCR Image Scanning): Reads text inside uploaded images/screenshots (e.g., “DM for free Nitro”, fake support QR codes, impersonation banners).
• Anti-Swear: Context-aware swearing and toxicity filter that understands intent rather than relying solely on strict blocklists.
• Shared Threat Intelligence: Keeps a global 0–100 threat score for bad actors across all protected servers. Repeat offenders arrive at your server already flagged.
• Automated Case Files & Logging: Generates numbered case files for every moderation action, complete with DM notifications to targets, clean mod-logs, and automatic time-based lifts for bans and timeouts.

Momentum provides seamless moderation commands with role hierarchy enforcement and clear audit trails:

• /timeout [user] [duration] [reason] — Time out a user, notify them via DM, log the case, and automatically lift when expired.
• /warn [user] [reason] — Issue an official warning and increment the user’s threat score.
• /kick [user] [reason] — Kick a member with logged case details.
• /ban [user] [reason] — Ban a user with optional auto-lift timers.
• /case [case_id] — Look up historical case details, notes, and mod logs.
• /threat [user] — Inspect a user’s global threat score and risk tier.
• /settings — Configure active protections, response actions (delete, warn, timeout, kick, ban), and allowlists.
