Observer is an all-in-one Discord bot designed to help communities stay organized, welcoming, active, and well-moderated. It combines moderation, security, support, community features, and everyday utilities in one configurable bot.
Moderation and security: Observer provides commands for bans, kicks, timeouts, and message purging, alongside moderation records, case history, statistics, and configurable logs. Its security tools help protect servers from scam messages and links, suspicious join activity, and honeypot interactions. Image scam checks can examine text, QR codes, and visual fingerprints, while protected-mention settings help prevent unwanted pings.
Logging and support: Audit logging gives staff visibility into server activity. Members can report messages through Discord’s context menu, including anonymously when enabled. Staff can claim and manage reports, while ticket panels give members another way to contact the support team.
Community management: Servers can set up reaction roles, automatic roles, verification, configurable rules, and temporary join-to-create voice channels. Observer also offers member profiles, avatars, tags, message quoting, and relays between channels or servers.
Leveling and engagement: Members earn XP and levels through activity, with leaderboards, weekly rankings, configurable level-up announcements, and optional role rewards. Server-stat counters can display member totals and online counts in voice channels.
Everyday utilities: Observer includes reminders, to-do lists, bookmarks, AFK status, weather lookups powered by Open-Meteo, Spotify display features, and an in-Discord help system.
Administrators can configure supported features through the interactive /setup dashboard, including channels, roles, permissions, cooldowns, logging, and module settings. Each server’s settings are stored separately, allowing Observer to adapt to the needs of different communities.
Observer is actively developed, open source, and built without relying on external AI services.
