Discord has recently been suffering from an influx of phishing links that are leaving server members vulnerable and server moderators constantly on the lookout to ban compromised accounts, it can be a time-consuming process, especially if the person subsequently recovers their accounts and wishes to appeal their ban.
That’s where Purple comes in! Purple will handle this process for you, as soon as an account sends a malicious link it will be banned from your server and you will be notified!
We recognise that if the member changes their password they may be able to recover their account, therefore, when they are banned Purple sends them a dm with information on how they can recover their account and a simple verification process. Once they have used the verification phrase they will be automatically unbanned and provided with an invite link to rejoin your server!
