How does it work?
- You send a message with a Spotify song link
- Bot reads it, looks for the same song on YouTube
- Bot replies to you with a YouTube link and 3 buttons at the bottom - a button to edit song to a different one, a button to show the lyrics, and a button to delete the bot’s message
- Normal (default) - bot responds with a YouTube link instantly
- Non-invasive - bot adds reaction to message with Spotify link, and when user click it, bot responds with YouTube link
- Command only - bot does not reply to messages in your server in any way - the only way to get it to work is to use the context menu (which functionality is fairly limited right now)
Users can also disable it for themselves if it bothers them (/disable-bot-for-me)
About languages: bot is programmed in a way that allows to quickly add more languages (language can be changed per server and user), currently added are: English (default), Polish. If you want to add your language, DM me.
Why this bot needs “View Audit Logs” permission? Just to check who added bot to the guild - when you add the bot to your server and it’ll detect that it’s missing some required permissions it will DM you (or guild owner if you won’t grant Audit Logs permission) with a list of missing permissions. If you don’t want to, you don’t need to grant that permission.
