Strudel
Strudel is an all-in-one Discord bot built to take care of the everyday work of running a community. Instead of combining several bots for tickets, moderation, levels and notifications, Strudel covers all of it in one place. Every module can be enabled individually and is configured entirely through slash commands. Run /help for an overview of everything the bot can do.
Ticket System
The ticket system gives your members a direct and private way to reach your team. Members open a ticket through a panel with one button per ticket type, answer a short question, and receive their own channel that only they and your support staff can see. From there, your team manages everything directly in the ticket:
- Claim, close, reopen and delete tickets with a single click
- Add or remove users and rename tickets as needed
- Receive an HTML transcript of every closed ticket in your log channel, while the member gets a copy by direct message
Support roles, a limit on open tickets per user and a dedicated log channel can be configured to fit your server.
Strudel’s AutoMod is built on Discord’s native AutoMod. Filtered messages are blocked before they are posted, and protection stays active even if the bot is briefly offline. It covers blocked words, links and invites, spam and mass mentions, and is complemented by a caps filter and message flood protection.
For spam accounts, Strudel offers a honeypot channel. Anyone who writes in it is banned immediately and their recent messages are removed across the server. Staff roles are exempt, so your team can keep moderating without restrictions.
Level System
Members earn experience for chatting and for spending time in voice channels. Progress can be checked with /rank and compared on an all-time or weekly leaderboard, which can also be posted automatically every Monday. You decide how the system behaves:
- Set XP rates for messages and voice activity, as well as the message cooldown
- Exclude channels or entire categories from earning XP
- Reward members with roles when they reach specific levels
- Adjust or reset the XP and levels of individual members or the entire server
Notifications
Keep your community informed about new content. Strudel posts new YouTube uploads, announces when a Twitch channel goes live, and tracks new and closed issues from GitHub repositories. Each notification can include a custom message or role mention.
Additional Features
Strudel also includes temporary voice channels that are created when a member joins and removed once they are empty, a counting channel with record tracking, an embed builder for formatted announcements and automatic roles for new members.
