Official website: textlantern.com
TextLantern helps you follow a conversation and reply in another language. Add it to your server for automatic channel translation, or to your own Discord account for private reading and reply translation.
For your server- Choose two main languages and automatically translate recognized messages between them.
- Keep translations beside the original message or in a thread.
- Choose up to eight languages in total per channel, including its two main languages. Additional translations can be automatic or on request; private results are always on request.
- Configure channels with
/setup. Server setup requires Manage Server, but the bot does not need Administrator.
- Right-click a message, open Apps, and choose Translate privately. Only you see the result in Discord.
- Use
/tto write and translate a reply. Review the result, then copy and send it yourself. - Use
/languageto set your default personal translation language.
Personal commands require installation to your own account. Inviting the server bot does not complete personal installation.
Get started- Sign in with Discord.

Trial and paid packsEligible Discord accounts can receive a one-time 300-character free trial. Personal translations and linked servers share the account’s balance. Paid packs are one-time purchases: purchased characters do not expire, and repeat purchases add to your balance. Features and server limits vary by pack. See current plans.
Privacy and helpPrivate translation means only you see the result in Discord. A translation provider still receives the text to process your request. Read our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
