Vettly Bot brings AI-powered moderation to Discord. It analyzes message text and image attachments using configurable Vettly policies. Depending on the policy result, the bot can allow, flag, or block content. Flagged messages are sent to the selected moderator log for human review. Blocked messages can be removed when the bot has the Manage Messages permission.
Use /setup to select a Strict, Balanced, or Permissive policy, set the language context, and choose a moderation log channel. The bot checks eligible messages across the server; use /whitelist to exempt trusted channels or roles. Change the active policy with /policy, and view or update server settings with /config. Use /status to check the bot and configuration, /stats to review moderation counts, /logs to open recent actions, and /test to check sample text. Run /help for the command list and links.
Moderation logs include the affected member and channel, triggered categories, a short content preview, and a decision ID to help moderators review the result or investigate an appeal. Test a policy in a low-risk channel before enabling moderation across the server. The three policy presets provide a useful starting point, and channel or role whitelists let you account for trusted spaces where moderation should be skipped.
The bot skips other bots’ messages and applies a per-server rate limit. Text and image checks use Vettly’s moderation service. See the setup guide at https://docs.vettly.dev, the bot page at https://vettly.dev/discord-bot, and community support at https://discord.gg/vettly.
